(Achillea millefolium) Small white flowers and fern like leaves, grows 50-70 cm tall, blooms June to September. Yarrow aggressively spreads by underground rhizomes and seed. Excellent for erosion control.
Companions: Asters.
Planting Instructions: Seed in early spring or late fall. Sow seeds sparingly on surface of soil and keep soil moist until germination occurs.
Historical: Leaves used to stop bleeding.
