(Geum triflorum) Nodding flowers, usally in threes, with reddish to purplish sepals and rose coloured petals, perennial, 15-45 cm (6-18") tall, blooms May to July. Seeds heads are a gray feathery achene that persists throughout mid-summer. Ideal for xeriscaping. Seed in early June or late fall. Sow seeds 1/4 to 1/3" deep. Plant in full sun to light shade.
