Harebell

(Campanula rotundifolia) Purple to blue bell shaped flowers, perennial, 10-45 cm (4-18") tall, with short basal leaves on numerous slender stems, blooms June to Semptember.  Prefers sandy, well drained soils with average moisture and full sun to partial shade.  Seeds are extremely small (1 million seeds per oz) therefore the seed should be mixed with a light carrier, such as sand, to help disperse the seeds.  Scatter seed on soil surface in early June.
